PENN Entertainment is currently focused on building its ESPN BET brand, while DraftKings continues to expand its portfolio of digital sports entertainment and gaming products. The entry of Flutter into an additional state highlights the continued aggressive land grab for market share in the U.S. betting landscape.

The expansion comes during a notable session for gambling equities.
