The 2026 FIFA World Cup is set to be the largest iteration of the tournament in history, expanding the field to 48 teams. Jointly hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico, the event presents a significant opportunity for media rights holders. Fox Corporation will serve as the primary English-language broadcaster in the U.S., holding the rights to air the competition on home soil.
Fox plans extensive coverage across its portfolio, televising all 104 matches throughout the tournament. The network schedule includes 69 matches on the main FOX broadcast channel and 35 matches scheduled for FS1. In addition to traditional television, every match will be available via the FOX One digital platform and the FOX Sports app. Streaming options for English-language coverage include availability on fubo.
For Spanish-language audiences, Telemundo and Universo will handle linear television broadcasts. Under the arrangement, 92 matches will air on Telemundo, with 12 televised on Universo. All 104 matches will be available to stream live on Peacock.
