World Cup Quarterfinals Set for Miami as Fox Broadcasts Tournament Homestretch

The 2026 FIFA World Cup is nearing its conclusion, with the tournament entering its final two weeks following the conclusion of the Round of 16. The United States’ run ended with a 1-4 defeat to Belgium in Seattle on Monday, July 6, leaving eight national teams to compete for the title.

Global soccer attention is shifting toward the upcoming quarterfinal matches. The next game on the schedule features France facing off against Morocco on Thursday, July 9, at Foxborough, Massachusetts. Following that, the slate continues with a quarterfinal matchup in Miami Gardens.

Hard Rock Stadium in Miami is hosting two remaining matches. The next fixture in Miami is a quarterfinal clash between Norway and England scheduled for Saturday, July 11. The venue will also host the Bronze final match on Saturday, July 18. In total, the Miami site is scheduled to host seven World Cup matches, having already hosted group stage games and a Round of 32 match between Argentina and Cabo Verde.

As the tournament reaches its critical stages, domestic broadcast rights holder Fox Corporation is providing coverage across its platforms. Fox is airing 70 of the tournament’s 104 matches on its main broadcast channel, with the remaining 34 scheduled for FS1. All matches are also available via the Fox Sports App and Fox One, while Telemundo is handling Spanish-language broadcasts.

Currently, shares of Fox Corporation are trading at $53.39. The stock saw a decline of 2.27% from the previous close, settling at $54.63. The company holds a market capitalization of approximately $23.46 billion and operates within the Communication Services sector.
