Díaz, who has pitched only six innings this season, has been sidelined for over three months following elbow surgery to remove loose bodies. He logged one inning over two appearances during his rehab stint with Oklahoma City.

In other roster news, outfielder Kyle Tucker appears to be regaining his form at the plate. After a slow start to the season and a difficult opening series after the All-Star break, Tucker homered in consecutive games against the New York Mets on Friday and Saturday. Meanwhile, the two-way status of star player Shohei Ohtani remains uncertain. A scheduled bullpen session on Saturday was canceled due to lingering inflammation in his left knee.
