Comcast’s Golf Channel, USA Network to Air 2026 AIG Women’s Open First Round

The 2026 AIG Women’s Open is set to commence Thursday morning at Royal Lytham and St. Annes, marking a significant viewing event for golf audiences. The broadcast coverage, which will showcase top contenders like World No. 7 Charley Hull seeking her first major victory, will be carried across platforms operated by Comcast Corporation.

Coverage begins in the early hours, with Golf Channel providing the first window of television broadcast from 4:00 a.m. ET to 8:00 a.m. ET. Following the morning segment, USA Network will pick up the telecast, extending coverage from 8:00 a.m. ET through 2:00 p.m. ET. Both networks fall under the umbrella of Comcast’s NBCUniversal, which remains a primary distributor for sports media in the United States.

In addition to traditional linear television, the event will be accessible via digital streaming. Viewers can utilize Golfchannel.com, the Golf Channel App, and the NBC Sports App to stream the first round, offering flexibility for audiences accessing the content across connected devices.

The tournament presents a compelling narrative for English golfer Charley Hull, who finished runner-up at last year’s event and again at the 2026 U.S. Women’s Open. As the first round tee times begin as early as 1:30 a.m. ET, the extensive broadcast schedule provides a dedicated window for investors and viewers to monitor media engagement levels surrounding the women’s major.
