Noh Enters Final Round with Three-Shot Lead at AIG Women’s Open

The 2026 AIG Women’s Open is set for its conclusion on Sunday, August 2, at Royal Lytham and St. Annes in England. The tournament heads into the final round with an unexpected leader at the top of the leaderboard.

Yealimi Noh, a 25-year-old American, will carry a three-shot advantage into Sunday’s play after carding a two-under 69 on Saturday. Currently sitting at seven-under par, this marks the first time in her career that she has held the lead in a major championship. Noh has only one previous LPGA Tour victory and two top-10 finishes in majors to her name.

She will face a chasing pack anchored by Haeran Ryu, who entered Saturday with the lead but stumbled to a three-over 74. Ryu falls back to four-under, tied with Lucy Li, Esther Henseleit, Shiho Kuwaki, and World No. 2 Jeeno Thitikul. English favorite Charley Hull remains within striking distance at two-under par.

Noh is scheduled to tee off at 9:35 a.m. ET alongside Henseleit. The final round will be broadcast from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. ET on USA Network, with coverage continuing from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. ET on NBC. Streaming options include GolfChannel.com and the NBC Sports App.

Market Context: The broadcast coverage is a key component for the event’s media rights holders. Comcast Corporation, the parent company of NBCUniversal and Golf Channel, is heavily involved in the production and distribution of the event. Comcast’s stock was recently trading at $23.96, up roughly 1.4% for the day.

What to watch

  • Noh’s performance while holding the 54-hole lead in a major for the first time.
  • Whether Ryu can recover from Saturday’s setback to apply pressure in the final group.
  • Viewership metrics for the Sunday broadcast, which impacts the advertising revenue for Comcast Corporation networks.
