Under Armour, Baltimore Ravens Expand Youth Sports Reach to 4,200 Athletes

Under Armour, Inc. and the Baltimore Ravens have deepened their longstanding community partnership by distributing equipment and apparel grants to 24 nonprofit youth sports programs. The initiative, managed by the Ravens Foundation, will outfit more than 4,200 athletes across over 300 teams, covering a geographic footprint that includes 13 Maryland counties, Baltimore City, and Milford, Delaware.

Now in its 16th year, the grant program allows recipient organizations to select customized gear packages tailored to their specific requirements. Rather than receiving standard inventory, programs can acquire items ranging from Under Armour jerseys and cleats to Guardian Caps and field equipment. This flexibility is designed to help nonprofit groups address their most urgent operational needs while lowering participation costs for families.

Beyond uniforms, the collaboration emphasizes player safety. Organizations that received emergency-response gear were invited to the Under Armour Performance Center in June for specialized training. Led by Rescue One, the sessions provided hands-on instruction in CPR and the proper use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs), ensuring that coaches and staff are prepared to handle medical emergencies.

The Ravens’ investment in youth football is executed through Ravens RISE, a year-round outreach platform that includes equipment donations, coaching recognition, and clinics. The partnership with Under Armour also supports high school competitions, such as the Ravens 7-on-7 tournament and “Play Like A Raven” instructional clinics.

Under Armour currently trades with a market capitalization of approximately $2.9 billion. The apparel manufacturer focuses on performance gear for men, women, and youth.
