Ravens First-Rounder Wiggins Carted Off at Training Camp

Baltimore Ravens defensive back Nate Wiggins exited the team’s training camp practice on Aug. 11 and was carted off the field. The incident occurred in the end zone while Wiggins was covering receiver Ja’Kobi Lane. He appeared to suffer an injury to his left leg.

Head coach Jesse Minter told reporters that the medical staff would evaluate the injury to determine its severity. Wiggins, selected 30th overall in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft out of Clemson, is entering a critical period in his professional development.

This is not the first health setback for the cornerback. In November 2025, Wiggins sustained a foot injury during the third quarter of a 32-14 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals at M&T Bank Stadium.

The Ravens and Bengals are scheduled to face each other twice in the upcoming regular season, with a Week 7 matchup in Baltimore on Oct. 25 followed by a Dec. 31 game in Cincinnati.

The practice took place at the Under Armour Performance Center in Owings Mills, Maryland. Under Armour is the official outfitter of the Ravens and a major player in the sports apparel sector. Under Armour, Inc. is currently trading at $5.41, reflecting a decline of 7.45% from the previous close of $5.84. The apparel manufacturer holds a market capitalization of approximately $2.73 billion.
