Run Fast Racing Modernizes Thoroughbred Ownership with Celebrity Partnerships
Run Fast Racing is launching a new initiative designed to broaden the appeal of Thoroughbred racing by modernizing the concept of group ownership. Founded by advertising executive and music manager Adam Kluger, the organization aims to reintroduce the sport to a wider demographic by blending traditional equine partnerships with contemporary pop culture.
Thoroughbred racing has historically struggled to maintain the mass audience it held decades ago, often perceived as an exclusive pastime for wealthy participants. While syndicates like Dogwood Stables pioneered the concept of group ownership in 1969, Run Fast Racing is applying a 21st-century twist to this model. The company offers a subscription-based service where members co-own a stable of horses, partnering directly with music icons such as Lil Wayne, Rauw Alejandro, and Lil Yachty.
According to Kluger, the structure removes the logistical complexities usually associated with racehorse ownership. Subscribers gain access to the entire stable rather than individual runners, operating on a month-to-month contract without long-term commitments. The model distributes prize money to all subscribers when the horses win. Since its launch in 2025, the company reports a 91% subscriber retention rate and early on-track success, including a victory in the Grade I Bing Crosby Stakes at Del Mar.
This innovation arrives as the racing industry seeks new avenues for engagement. Within the broader market, established entities like Churchill Downs Incorporated continue to operate major venues and wagering platforms, maintaining a significant market capitalization of over $6.3 billion. While traditional operators focus on venue management and betting services, startups like Run Fast Racing are targeting the fan experience through ownership accessibility.
Kuger emphasized that the goal is not to overhaul the sport’s traditions but to facilitate access for a new generation of fans. By leveraging the influence of celebrities who have already invested in the concept, the firm hopes to drive sustained interest in the sport.
