Nuggets Overhaul Broadcast Booth with Reed, Winge

The Denver Nuggets are entering a new era on Altitude Sports. The regional sports network has finalized a revamped broadcast team for the upcoming NBA season, replacing its veteran play-by-play and commentary crew with a younger roster. Noah Reed will assume play-by-play duties, while Katy Winge shifts from a reporting role to the lead color commentator position.

The lineup shakeup was confirmed by Altitude Sports & Entertainment SVP and GM Matthew Krol, who touted the new group as a mix of fresh energy and basketball expertise. The team also includes Lauren Gardner, who steps in as a studio host and reporter, and Jason Richardson, set to serve as the studio analyst.

This restructuring marks a significant departure from the previous era. The new duo of Reed and Winge replace the long-standing tandem of Chris Marlowe and Scott Hastings, with Richardson taking over studio duties previously held by Chris Dempsey.

Reed brings a diverse broadcasting portfolio to the Nuggets. In addition to his new role with Denver, he currently handles college football and basketball play-by-play for Fox Corporation (FOXA), as well as college hoops for NBC Sports. The move places Reed alongside a group of Ball State alumni making waves in national sports broadcasting.

The changes at Altitude coincide with broader movements in the sports media landscape. Comcast Corporation (CMCSA), which owns NBC Sports, continues to maintain a strong presence in college basketball coverage, one of the markets where Reed has built his resume.
