Fox Sports 1 to Broadcast Reds vs. Giants Series Opener

The Cincinnati Reds are set to begin a three-game road series against the San Francisco Giants on Monday, August 24, at Oracle Park. While the matchup will be available on the team’s dedicated streaming platform, the opening game will also receive national television coverage.

Monday’s contest is scheduled for a 9:45 p.m. E.T. first pitch. The game will be broadcast on Fox Corporation’s Fox Sports 1 (FS1) as well as Reds.TV. This dual-availability allows viewers to choose between traditional cable viewing and the team’s direct-to-consumer streaming product.

Fox Corporation (FOXA) closed the most recent trading session at $68.54, a decline of roughly 0.23% from the previous close. The company, which operates in the Communication Services sector, relies on live sports rights to drive viewership for its Cable Network Programming segment. Broadcasts such as the Reds-Giants matchup are integral to the company’s strategy to maintain engagement across its sports portfolio.

For the remainder of the series, games on Tuesday and Wednesday will be available exclusively on Reds.TV. The series concludes on Wednesday, August 26, at 3:45 p.m. E.T. Fans within the Reds’ regional television territory can access the stream via cable or satellite providers, while those outside the region can subscribe through MLB.TV.

Following the conclusion of the series in San Francisco, Cincinnati will travel to Chicago to face the Cubs at Wrigley Field from August 28 through 30.
