NBC Sports Extends Partnership with Shaun White’s Snow League for Season 2

Comcast Corporation subsidiary NBC Sports has renewed its media rights agreement with The Snow League, the ski and snowboard series founded by Olympic gold medalist Shaun White. The expanded partnership will see the action sports league return for a second season, with coverage scheduled to begin next month.

Under the terms of the new deal, NBC’s streaming service Peacock will serve as the primary domestic destination for live coverage. The platform is set to stream over 50 hours of live event coverage this season. In a significant shift from the league’s inaugural season, coverage will expand in 2027 to include live simulcasts on The Snow League’s YouTube channel, moving away from an exclusive Peacock arrangement. The upcoming season’s first event will take place in Cardrona, New Zealand, streaming exclusively on YouTube on Sept. 19.

While streaming takes precedence, the agreement also includes a linear television component. NBC will broadcast encore presentations of all four season events. Three of these encore broadcasts are slated for Sunday afternoons, with one scheduled for a Saturday slot. The first broadcast presentation, an encore of the New Zealand event, is set for Sunday, Dec. 27 at 2 p.m. ET.
