Comcast Corporation subsidiary NBC Sports is set to showcase a unique broadcast presentation for the upcoming series finale between the Cincinnati Reds and the Chicago Cubs. The game, scheduled for Sunday night, will air on the NBC broadcast network and stream exclusively on the Peacock platform.

The matchup marks a departure from the team’s standard viewing options. While the earlier games of the series at Wrigley Field were available on Reds.TV, the Sunday finale will be carried exclusively by NBC and Peacock. First pitch is set for 7:20 p.m. ET on Aug. 30.

The broadcast will leverage notable on-air talent to enhance the viewer experience. Jason Benetti will handle play-by-play duties, joined by analysts Anthony Rizzo and Jeff Brantley. Additionally, former Reds star Joey Votto will join the broadcast team. Votto is slated to appear on the pregame show with host Ahmed Fareed and will provide “Inside the Pitch” commentary, offering analysis from a batter’s perspective during the game.
