Former Titans QB Will Levis Faces Free Agency After Release

Quarterback Tennessee Titans draft pick Will Levis is officially a free agent after being waived by the organization. The move ends the Kentucky product’s tenure with the team after two seasons, a period that began with high expectations but concluded amid inconsistent performance and injury concerns.

Selected as a second-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, Levis missed the entire 2025 season due to shoulder surgery. His last on-field action came in 2024, where he accumulated 2,091 passing yards, 13 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions for a Titans team that finished at the bottom of its division.

As the 27-year-old looks for a new opportunity to restart his career, several analysts have identified the New England Patriots and Jacksonville Jaguars as potential landing spots. The Patriots could offer a reunion with head coach Mike Vrabel, who coached Levis during his rookie season in Tennessee. With Drake Maye established as the starter in New England, Levis would likely compete for a backup role behind a former coach familiar with his playstyle.

Another potential destination is Jacksonville, where Levis could reunite with Jaguars offensive coordinator Liam Coen. Coen served as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Kentucky during Levis’ transfer season, a period where the quarterback immediately assumed the starting role.

The broader sports media landscape covering Levis’ next moves remains robust. Fox Corporation (FOXA), the media giant that operates extensive sports programming and news segments, continues to broadcast NFL content and analysis. FOXA is currently trading at $68.42, up 1.74% from the previous close, with a market capitalization of approximately $29.57 billion.
