FanDuel Rolls Out Seven-Day Bonus Bet Offer as MLB and NFL Season Overlap

FanDuel Rolls Out Seven-Day Bonus Bet Offer as MLB and NFL Season Overlap

FanDuel, the sportsbook brand operated by Flutter Entertainment, is running a new customer promotion that can pay out as much as $350 in bonus bets across a bettor’s first week on the platform. The structure differs from typical one-time welcome offers: rather than a single sign-up bonus, new users receive $50 in bonus bets each day they place a qualifying wager of at least $5, with the promotion running across seven consecutive days.

To participate, customers must register a new account, make an initial deposit of $5 or more, and place a minimum $5 wager on any market. Once that bet settles — regardless of the outcome — $50 in bonus bets is credited. The process can be repeated once per day for up to seven days, capping the total at $350.

Timing with the sports calendar

The offer lands during a busy stretch on the betting calendar. Thursday night’s MLB slate features a Pittsburgh Pirates–Chicago White Sox matchup scheduled for 7:40 pm Eastern, with both clubs in the playoff race as the 2026 season winds down. Later in the evening, the NFL’s Thursday night spotlight shifts to a meeting between the San Francisco 49ers and the Los Angeles Rams.

FanDuel’s promotion applies across all sports betting markets regardless of the odds, giving users flexibility in how they deploy the daily wagers.

Key restrictions

The offer is limited to new customers aged 21 and over in eligible states (18 and over in Washington, D.C., and West Virginia), and is unavailable where FanDuel does not operate. Notably, bonus bets cannot be withdrawn as cash, cannot be transferred, and expire seven days after being issued. Winnings from bonus bets are paid out without the stake being returned, and bets placed with bonus bets do not count toward the promotion’s own redemption requirements.

The promotion underscores the ongoing intensity of customer acquisition in the U.S. online sports betting market, where operators continue to spend heavily on promotional credits to grow their player bases. Flutter Entertainment, FanDuel’s parent company, trades at $98.68 today, down 0.65% from its previous close of $99.33, with a market capitalization of roughly $17.5 billion.

What to watch

  • FanDuel’s promotional spend and customer acquisition trends when Flutter Entertainment next reports earnings
  • How competing sportsbooks adjust their own welcome offers heading into the NFL season
  • State-level regulatory changes affecting promotional structures in eligible markets
  • Continued playoff races in MLB, which typically drive elevated betting handle in September
