What Indiana Fever staff, players say in exit interviews after 2026 WNBA season

October 3, 2026 · by SPW Pipeline

Today is an important day for the Indiana Fever. It is their opportunity to share insights on their 2026 season, plans for the offseason and 2027.

The Fever set a franchise record with 28 wins, but that was good enough for the sixth seed, playing poorly down the stretch and losing key tiebreakers that led them from having a shot at the second seed to falling and being unable to host in the playoffs.

They lost Thursday in Game 3 to the Las Vegas Aces, leading to a first-round exit. All this despite having three WNBA All-Star starters in Caitlin Clark, Kelsey Mitchell and Aliyah Boston − a championship core let down by its supporting cast and roster risks that did not pay off.

Follow along with today’s interviews with select players, coach Stephanie White and general manager Amber Cox below.
