One SEC team ranked in the top 10 and another at the end of the AP Top 25 faced upsets Saturday. But in the end, Texas football still ended up the No. 1 in the country, per the poll.
No. 24 Kentucky staved off South Carolina 35-34 in overtime and No. 8 Florida was wiped out by No. 25 Missouri, 45-17. Pretty much every other matchup featuring a top-25 team went as expected as the Longhorns had the week off.
