Which NFL game should be nationally televised in Week 5?
The 2026 NFL season enters Week 5 with three undefeated teams remaining and several franchises seeking their first wins. However, Sunday’s TV schedule of games is certainly more underwhelming than previous weeks.
The league heads back to London to start the day with the injury-plagued Philadelphia Eagles taking on the Jacksonville Jaguars. This could’ve been one of the best games of the weekend prior to the season, but Jalen Hurts and the Eagles’ struggles certainly make it less exciting.
Meanwhile, the afternoon schedule includes a matchup featuring winless teams. The Tennessee Titans and Houston Texans battle, while other 0-4 teams like the Miami Dolphins and Los Angeles Chargers are in action.
What’s your favorite NFL matchup that should be nationally televised in Week 5? Which games stand out more than the rest?

San Francisco 49ers vs. Seattle Seahawks
Date: Sunday, Oct. 11
Time: 4:25 p.m. ET on Fox
Stadium: Lumen Field
The saving grace for the day comes in the form of two elite NFC West teams squaring off. The San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks have a top rivalry and both franchises are among the best in the league at the moment.
San Francisco is 4-0 entering Sunday’s matchup, and the 49ers look like they’re capable of making a Super Bowl run. Unfortunately for Kyle Shanahan’s team, Seattle looks just as good and they’re finally starting to click after Sam Darnold’s Week 1 injury.
The two franchises are very familiar with one another, especially after meeting the playoffs last season. The matchup features massive star power with Christian McCaffrey, Mike Evans and Jaxon Smith-Njigba all running wild on offense.
Last season, the NFC West sent three teams to the postseason and it’s likely that San Francisco and Seattle will be back in that same position in a few months.
