It’s a battle of NL heavyweights as a pair of 100-win teams stage a rematch of last year’s NLCS with the top-seeded Milwaukee Brewers looking to avenge their loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers. The two-time defending World Series champion Dodgers will have to break through on the road once again if they hope to make it three titles in a row.
Meanwhile, the AL matchup offers the complete opposite, with the top-seeded Rays looking to get back to the World Series for the first time since the COVID-shortened 2020 season – and hoping to win it for the first time in franchise history.
They’ll be heavy favorites over the Cleveland Guardians, who had to survive a grueling five-game division series just to get here.
