LEXINGTON — The NCAA now permits college basketball teams to hold three preseason exhibitions. Kentucky is taking full advantage of the opportunity.
And it begins tonight at Rupp Arena. UK and coach Mark Pope welcome Little Rock to Lexington. After hosting their annual Big Blue Madness event (which was open to the public) and pro day (which was not) earlier this month, the Wildcats‘ exhibition tonight marks the first time outsiders will see Pope’s group against another team.
There will be plenty of eyes on Milan Momcilovic, the top shooter in the nation last season and Kentucky‘s best transfer addition. Malachi Moreno will command plenty of attention as well as the Georgetown native tries to build off a 2025-26 campaign that saw him earn a spot on the SEC’s All-Freshman Team.

- TV channel: The exhibition game between the Wildcats and Trojans will not air on a traditional television channel. Instead, it will be streamed live on SEC Network+, a complementary digital platform to the linear SEC Network run by ESPN.
