How to watch Kansas basketball’s exhibition game against Louisville
LAWRENCE — Kansas basketball’s preseason slate continues Wednesday with an exhibition game at home against Louisville.
The tied-No. 18 Jayhawks captured an 80-62 win in their first exhibition contest last week, at home against Pittsburg State. Fans had the opportunity to see the likes of freshman guard Tyran Stokes, fifth-year center Christian Reeves and more compete inside Allen Fieldhouse. This game, though, against No. 11 Louisville, will provide a more accurate look at where KU stands ahead of the start of the 2026-27 regular season.

Kansas’ exhibition contest against Louisville will be broadcast on ESPNU during the lead-up to the 2026-27 regular season. The matchup will feature two teams with high expectations this season. Streaming options include ESPN+.

Kansas is scheduled to tip off against Louisville on Wednesday at 6 p.m. (CT) in Lawrence.
Kansas basketball storylines heading into its exhibition vs Louisville
Much of the attention around this game will focus on the return of Flory Bidunga, a junior forward for the Cardinals. Bidunga started his career at KU, and played well during his time with the Jayhawks, before transferring away following the 2025-26 season.
Also, KU just recently added a transfer from Purdue in fifth-year forward Trey Kaufman-Renn to the roster. That doesn’t mean the newcomer will play in this game, but that’s something to watch as well.
