Where does Iowa football rank in CBS Sports’ 138 rankings?

Despite the Hawkeyes‘ bye this past weekend, Iowa saw upward movement in the latest CBS Sports 138 rankings entering Week 8.

Iowa (5-1, 2-1 Big Ten) is now ranked No. 14 in the updated CBS Sports 138 rankings. It’s a two-spot jump for the Hawkeyes. Minnesota—Iowa’s opponent this week—checks in as the nation’s No. 42 team, per the CBS Sports 138 rankings.

The Golden Gophers (4-2, 2-1 Big Ten) are also coming off a bye week. Minnesota lost 41-13 at Purdue its last time out. Like Iowa, the Gophers own Big Ten wins over Washington and Michigan.
