NFL predictions: Scores and picks for Week 7 between the Buccaneers and Panthers

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are looking to get back in the win column following a disappointing 26-19 overtime loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Now, Tampa Bay heads to Charlotte for an NFC South matchup against the Carolina Panthers in Week 7.

The Buccaneers enter Sunday’s matchup at 1-5 after dropping five of their first six games. Quarterback Baker Mayfield is expected to return after missing the last three games with a thumb injury, but Tampa Bay continues to deal with several key injuries on both sides of the football.

Carolina, meanwhile, enters the matchup at 3-2 following a 25-14 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles. The Panthers have won three of their last four games and will look to continue their momentum against a struggling Buccaneers team.

This week, the Bucs Nation staff is evenly split, with two members picking Tampa Bay to pull off the road victory and two taking Carolina to defend its home field.
