Texas OT Trevor Goosby will miss remainder of season with knee injury sustained in win over Ole Miss
Texas offensive tackle Trevor Goosby will miss the remainder of the 2026-27 season with a knee injury, ESPN’s Pete Thamel reports.
Losing their left tackle makes a disappointing year for the No. 11 Longhorns (5-2) even more difficult with five games remaining on their regular-season schedule.
The 6-foot-7, 325-pound lineman sustained the injury to his left knee during the first quarter of Texas’ 34-27 win over Ole Miss on Saturday.
Goosby, 21, began his senior campaign as a top offensive line prospect for next year’s NFL Draft. In his first mock draft of the season, Yahoo Sports analyst Nate Tice ranked Goosby as the second-best tackle, projecting him to be picked with the No, 16 selection.
