David Pollack predicts the winner, score of Georgia-Florida game

Former Georgia Bulldogs defensive end David Pollack previewed the Georgia Bulldogs (6-1, 4-1 SEC) versus Florida Gators (5-2, 3-2 SEC) game. Pollack is fired up for the game, especially with it being playing for the first time in Atlanta, Georgia.

"Florida is out (of the College Football Playoff) if they lose," Pollack said on the "See Ball Get Ball" podcast. Both teams have a lot at stake on Saturday, Oct. 31 at 3:30 p.m. ET (televised on ABC). Pollack think Florida has some tough losses and a third loss would be too much to overcome.

Pollack predicts that Georgia will beat Florida 31-24 in a close game.

"I got 31-24," Pollack said. "I think Georgia gets in the 30s. I think Georgia’s run game gets going. I think Gunner (Stockton) will play better. I personally think it was an anomaly (against Auburn).

"I don’t think that’s something we’re going to see from him very often because that was some bad mistakes. Like bad mistakes. And then you can argue bad luck on the fumble. I mean, just to happen to run into an offensive lineman in front of him, but I do think Florida’s going to get theirs."

Pollack thinks Georgia’s offense against Florida’s defense will be the most important matchup. Georgia still has the SEC’s top scoring offense and Florida’s defense has had some poor performances, especially in the secondary.

"They’ve (Florida) had progress," Pollack continued. "I just don’t think they’re going to be able to overcome Georgia."
