Dana White Netflix documentary reportedly in works for early 2027

Netflix is reportedly moving forward with a documentary aboutUltimate Fighting Championship CEO DanaWhite, with a premiere anticipated in the first quarter of2027.

Gotham Chopra, whose previous sports documentaries have featuredTom Brady and LeBron James, is directing the untitledproduction.

According to Page Six, the projectwas initially conceived as a documentary about Las Vegas beforeevolving into a closer look at White and his role in the UFC’sgrowth.

Netflix reportedly greenlit the documentary as a companion projectwhile pursuing the UFC’s media rights. Paramount ultimately securedthe U.S. rights in a seven-year agreement worth $7.7 billion.

The documentary is expected to examine White’s involvement in theUFC’s acquisition by Frank and Lorenzo Fertitta and its eventualsale to an Endeavor-led group.

Recent developments could also provide material, including UFC Freedom 250 on the White House South Lawn and the launch ofZuffa Boxing, White’s venture with Saudi official TurkiAlalshikh.

Chopra has not publicly commented on the reported project. No titleor official release date has been announced.
