White holds FLEX1 after carrying 26 times for 193 yards and two touchdowns in the 48-41 win over Florida Atlantic, including a 59-yard scoring run in the second quarter. The former West Virginia standout has scored in all eight games since transferring to North Texas, and he’s topped 100 rushing yards for a fifth straight week. North Texas coach Neal Brown still had a complaint: “I thought Jahiem was careless with the ball.”
Rice allows 175.0 rushing yards per game, 109th in FBS.
Messer moves up two spots after catching 16 passes for 189 yards and three touchdowns in that loss at North Texas. Florida Atlantic hosts UTSA on Thursday, and the Owls’ defense allows 35.8 points per game, so the fifth-year receiver should see another night of heavy volume.
Sheppard holds FLEX3 after setting a Duke single-game record with five rushing touchdowns in a 47-2 rout of Boston College. He ran 20 times for 97 yards, and his 18 total touchdowns are a Duke single-season record. “To be able to do that is a lot of credit to those guys up front,” Sheppard said of his linemen.
Riley has 1,049 rushing yards and nine touchdowns on 165 carries. The Moreno Valley, California, native now faces a Colorado State defense that allows 261.1 rushing yards and 42.4 points per game, both last in FBS.
Oregon State’s Jesse Legree holds FLEX5, followed by Oklahoma State’s Caleb Hawkins and North Texas receiver Justin Stevenson. Boise State freshman Rasean Jones makes the biggest jump of the week, from FLEX65 to FLEX8, while Miami’s Malachi Toney falls from FLEX2 to FLEX15 ahead of a trip to Notre Dame.

Gutierrez climbs 29 spots after carrying 28 times for 110 yards and a touchdown in a 35-13 loss to Notre Dame. The Irish entered the game allowing 67.3 rushing yards per game, and the Navy junior passed that total before halftime. He has run for a touchdown in four straight games and has 979 rushing yards with 13 scores this season.
Temple is 2-6, and its defense ranks 124th in ESPN’s defensive efficiency rating.
Louisville’s Lincoln Kienholz slides from QB1 to QB2 after throwing for 250 yards and two touchdowns and running for another score in a 52-24 win over Stanford. The Ohio State transfer has accounted for three touchdowns in a game five times this season, and Georgia Tech has allowed 39 points per game during its three-game losing streak.
Houston’s Conner Weigman debuts at QB3 after the Cougars’ bye. The Cypress, Texas, native has thrown for 2,053 yards, 20 touchdowns and two interceptions with 249 rushing yards and six scores. Utah held him without a touchdown in a 21-13 loss before the off week, and PaperCity reported he left the stadium in a walking boot after a limited week of practice.
Oregon State’s Braden Atkinson moves from QB7 to QB4. He’s thrown for at least 300 yards in all eight games, breaking Sean Mannion’s school record, and Texas State allows 295.4 passing yards per game, 137th nationally. Bobcats quarterback Brad Jackson climbs from QB11 to QB5 on the other side of that game after throwing for 327 yards and accounting for five touchdowns in a 46-45 loss at Boise State.

White and Sheppard hold RB1 and RB2, and Riley jumps from RB7 to RB3 for the Colorado State matchup. Hawkins moves from RB5 to RB4 at Kansas State.
Louisville’s Isaac Brown climbs from RB14 to RB5 after running for 139 yards, including a 75-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter, and catching an 18-yard touchdown pass against Stanford. Georgia Tech ranks dead last in the ACC in rushing defense.
UTSA’s Will Henderson lands at RB10, and teammate A’Marion Peterson debuts at RB13. Florida Atlantic allows 256.0 rushing yards per game, second-worst in FBS, so both Roadrunners backs carry value on Thursday.
Missouri’s Jamal Roberts drops from RB3 to RB34 against Texas, and Southern Miss’ Steven Robinson falls from RB4 to RB38 against James Madison.
WR outlook

Messer climbs from WR2 to WR1 after breaking his own program record for receptions in a game. He has scored eight touchdowns across his last eight quarters and has 74 catches for 898 yards and nine scores this season. Brown said his defense “tried everything on Messer” without finding an answer.
Legree moves from WR3 to WR2 despite a quiet night. Fresno State held the Baltimore native to seven catches for 70 yards in a 38-22 loss, his first game this season without 100 receiving yards or a touchdown. He still has 1,110 yards and 14 touchdown catches, and the Texas State second
