Dianna Russini, an NFL reporter who quit her $800,000-a-year gig at The Athletic after leaked photos prompted speculation that she was having an affair with Patriots Coach Mike Vrabel, is reportedly returning to work.
Citing a source with knowledge of the situation, Mike Florio of NBC Sports’ Pro Football Talk wrote Wednesday that she has a new job starting “next week.”

Page Six followed with a report that Russini will be “headlining her own show,” interviewing players and coaches, per a source.
“It’s going to be on a digital platform. It will be launching next week,” the source told the gossip page. “It’s been in the works for a while and she can’t wait to get back to what she loves.”

Russini and Vrabel sparked rumors in April when photos were published of them looking somewhat intimate at an Arizona resort. Photos later emerged of them apparently kissing at a bar in New York City in 2020 and visiting a Mississippi casino in 2024. Another report said the couple rented a boat together in 2021 while Russini was apparently pregnant with her first child.
Both Russini and Vrabel are married with children. They have not admitted to any romantic involvement.

Vrabel had noted “difficult conversations” with his family and said he was getting therapy.
Russini also made headlines for claiming she got out of a traffic ticket by FaceTiming the cop’s favorite coach.
An internal investigation by The Athletic determined Russini’s relationship with Vrabel violated standards.
HuffPost reached out to Russini for comment.
