Ohio State basketball vs. YSU: Where to watch, stream the game Friday
The Ohio State basketball team opened its season with a loss to No. 25 BYU on Monday evening in Salt Lake City by a score of 94-83. The Buckeyes played well in the first half, leading the Cougars by three going into halftime. But in a repeat of what has been Jake Diebler‘s tenure in Columbus, OSU couldn’t finish the game, faltering on defense by giving up 60 points in the second half.
The Buckeyes will try to get back on track on Friday evening in the home opener against Youngstown State. Ohio State has faced the Penguins six times, winning by an average of 32 points. The two teams last met in 2024, with the Buckeyes winning 81-47.
In order to help get fans in the stands, free admission is being offered to Ohio State students, and free "Buckeye Nut House" t-shirts for the first 1,000 students in attendance.
